Warsztat przeznaczony jest dla osób praktykujących ashtanga jogę od co najminiej 3 miesięcy. / This workshop is dedicated for poeple who have been practicing ashtanga yoga for at least 3 month.

It was in 1998 that Ashtanga yoga came into my life, and I would have to say that it was just in time. Life for me was pretty crazy at that point and if I hadn’t found the therapy of the daily practice Ashtanga provides, then it would probably be a different story for me today. There is something very special that happens to a person when the practice takes hold, & this is what I wish to share with you.

In 2002, I first began practice with Sri K Pattabhi Jois and R. Sharath Jois on their tour in New Zealand. The late Guruji really inspired me and since 2004 I have been returning to Mysore deepening my connection to Ashtanga at its source. In 2010, my dedication to the practice was recognized by Sharath & was then selected for his level 2 (full intermediate series) training for authorised students.

Today, my daily practice includes the 4th series and the full Ashtanga pranayama sequence. I am so passionate about these systems and believe in their efficacy towards ultimate health, that I continue to study classical Yoga philosophy, Sanskrit and Ayurveda and bring these practices of my direct experience into the class.

My base is in tropical Koh Phangan, Thailand as I continue to teach around Asia. Spending time with people who inspire me like Rolf Naujokat and other senior practitioners keep the juices flowing and to whom I am also indebted for the dedication of these yogis.

Primary Series led class with introduction

The led class will be preceeded by a brief explanation of Tristhana and will ensure all participants have a correct understanding of this. Subtle aspects of surya namaskara and vinyasa system will be explained.

10.30 - 13.00: Warsztat – Wygięcia w Tył wyjście poza granicę Strachu / Workshop – Backbending beyond Fear

Backbending beyond Fear

Backbending/ heart opening often induces fear or avoidance . In this workshop we will first  work with breathing to regulate hormones and learn to adapt and control our response to them. Learning how to stay in control during the body's fight or flight response. This is very empowering for us. Next , we will explore how to safely go deeper in backbends and some methods to unblock tightness.

10.30 - 13.00: Warsztat – Bandhy, Latające Vinyasy bez Wysiłku / Workshop – Bandhas, Flying and Effortless Ease

Bandhas, Flying and Effortless Ease

We will learn how to engage the mulabandha and uddiyana bandha and control them during different stages of the practice. Working with jumping transitions (adapted for all levels). How the bandha are fundamental to breathing and the correct distribution of prana and balancing of energies in the human system.

Nie ma możliwości rezerwowania pojedynczych zajęć Mysore.

 

POJEDYNCZE ZAJĘCIA WARSZTATOWE: 199 zł (rezerwacja pojedynczych zajęć możliwa od 25. kwietnia)

 

Ilość miejsc na zajęciach warsztatowych: 18, ilość miejsc na Mysore: 25.

 

Rezerwacji można dokonać wpłacając 50% sumy gotówką w recepcji lub na konto po uprzednim zapisaniu się na listę uczestników mailem: info@yogarepublic.pl. Zaliczka podlega zwrotowi jedynie, jeżeli zwolnione miejsce zostanie zarezerwowane przez inną osobę. Reszta kwoty płatna gotówką na miejscu przed zajęciami.

MYSORE PROGRAMME (3 Mysore classes): 

55 EUR / 65 EUR

Reservation until the 12th of April / after 13th of April (due to the date of payment of the reservation fee). You cannot book a single Mysore class.

 

SINGLE WORKSHOP CLASS: 49 EUR (available for reservation from the 25th of April)

 

Number of places in the workshop class: 18,
number of places in Mysore class: 25.

 

To make a reservation you should first contact us by email: info@yogarepublic.pl. Then after receiving the pre-reservation info, pay 50% of the price at the reception desk by cash or by making a transfer to the following account. You can only receive your reservation fee back, if there will be someone else to fill in you place. The rest of the fee should be payed at school before the first class in cash.
